BBQ Lentil Sliders

Posted on: January 27, 2020 by Kiryako Sharikas

This Healthy Eats recipe is brought to you by Ellwood Thompson’s Local Market. Today we’ll be making BBQ lentil sliders. They’re vegan-friendly so everyone can enjoy them!

Nutritional Facts:

Lentils: To start, there are many types of lentils. Beluga, Puy, Green, Yellow, and Red to name a few. We used brown in the picture. These bad boys are packed full of protein and come stocked with 90% of your suggested amount of Folate. You’ll also find them to be high in Phosphorous, Manganese, Iron, Copper, and Potassium.

Safflower Oil: This oil may help serve as an anti-inflammatory. Read more about the study here 👉 Is Safflower Oil a Healthy Alternative?
