Valerie Boggess

Valerie is the administrative assistant for Sheltering Arms Community Programs and the administrator of Sheltering Arms’ RecTrac recreation management program. She has supported Sheltering Arms patients, clients, and team members in her role for the past 23+ years and has more than 40 years of experience in the customer service field. Valerie believes that excellent service is the key to building long-lasting connections with those she serves and strives to not only meet the expectations of those she interacts with, but to provide service that will exceed expectations.

Valerie completed the Administrative Assistant Fundamentals continuing education course with John Tyler Community College – Workforce Alliance in 2006. 

When she is not providing information, scheduling appointments, and helping our clients and members find the Power to Overcome, Valerie enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at church, baking and decorating cakes, fishing, and gardening.
