Kimberly Gryder, CTRS

Community Program Coordinator

Kimberly Gryder, CTRS, is the Community Program Coordinator at Sheltering Arms Midtown. Kimberly plans and implements various community-based programs to increase leisure opportunities and participation among individuals with specialized needs secondary to illness and injury. She works closely with volunteers who wish to assist clients in community recreation programs and oversees student interns fulfilling their therapeutic recreation requirements for their degrees. Much of her experience has been serving older adults and clients with traumatic brain injuries, stroke, limb loss, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological disorders. Kimberly lives in Hanover with her husband, Ray, her two sons, Gabe and Liam, and their crazy dog, Josie. In her free time, she loves to knit, read, watch movies, kayak, fish, and most importantly, spend time with her family and friends.
