Sheltering Arms One of the 50 Most Engaged Workplaces™ in the U.S.

Continuing the recent string of honors awarded to Sheltering Arms, Central Virginia’s premier physical therapy healthcare organization this week was named as one of the 50 Most Engaged Workplaces in the United States. The annual award recognizes employers that display leadership and innovation towards engaging their employees.

The 50 Most Engaged Workplaces™ Awards panel of judges evaluated each applicant on how they measured up to other organizations based on eight criteria.  This distinction is given by I Love Rewards, an employee recognition organization that operates in the U.S. and Canada.

The panel of judges included Dr. Bob Nelson, PhD, Best Selling Author and President of Nelson Motivation Inc., Paul Hebert, Managing Director and Lead Consultant of i2i, Stacia Garr, SR Analyst with Bersin & Associates, Debbie McGrath, Founder and Chief Instigator at HR.com and Razor Suleman, Founder & CEO of I Love Rewards.

The 50 Most Engaged Workplaces™ Awards panel of judges evaluated each applicant on how they

measured up to other organizations based on the Eight Elements of Employee Engagement™. The Eight Elements of Employee Engagement™ include: Communication, Leadership, Culture, Rewards &

Recognition, Professional & Personal Growth, Accountability & Performance, Vision & Values and

Corporate Social Responsibility.

This award is just the latest given to Sheltering Arms for its superior business practices.  In May, Sheltering Arms received three local Employer All Star awards, including the top award for its size. Additionally, the organization was just named to the Modern Healthcare nationwide Best Places to Work in Healthcare.
