MD, Medical Director Dr. Gibellato’s specialties include acute and persistent low back pain, with expertise in interventional as well as non-interventional methods and techniques. Additional areas of interest and clinical expertise include: electromyographic medicine; back injury treatment and rehabilitation; and neurorehabilitation for conditions such as stroke, brain injury and spinal cord injuries.

Originally from Ohio, Dr. Gibellato received his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio and completed his residency at the Medical College of Virginia. He is a member of the American Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Medical Society of Virginia. Dr. Gibellato has an inpatient rehabilitation practice at Sheltering Arms Hospital - Hanover and sees outpatients in Sheltering Arms Hanover Rehabilitation Center and the Ambulatory Surgery Center, where he provides pain medicine procedures.
