MD Dr. Gibbs graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned Summa Cum Laude honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. Following his doctorate, Dr. Gibbs served as an intern at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA and he completed his residency in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems. Dr. Gibbs works alongside Medical Director Timothy M. Silver, MD at Sheltering Arms Hospital -South in Midlothian.
