For the third consecutive year and the fourth time in the last five years, Modern Healthcare has named Sheltering Arms one of the Best Places to Work in Healthcare. Modern Healthcare is one of the leading online and print sources of healthcare business news and compiled the national list.
We were also honored recently as one of "The Achievers 50 Most Engaged Workplaces™ in the United States." This annual award recognizes employers that display leadership and innovation toward engaging their employees. With this award, Sheltering Arms joins the ranks of some very large and well known companies, such as Zappos, Cisco Systems, Inc. and Alcoa.
In 2011, Sheltering Arms also earned three Employer All-Star Awards, including the prestigious Employer of Choice Award from Richmond SHRM, the Greater Richmond Chamber and the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Recently we were recognized with the Work-Life Seal of Distinction for 2013 as designated by WorldatWork's Alliance for Work-Life Progress.
Case Management
Our dedicated case managers were awarded with a Case in Point Platinum Award in 2012. This program honors the programs and professionals that best educate and empower patients, improve adherence and wellness, ensure quality care and contain healthcare costs.
Marketing and Public Relations
The goal of our marketing team is to keep our community informed of the advanced technologies, programs and services we offer our patients.
In 2012, Sheltering Arms was honored with three Aster Awards for excellence in healthcare marketing, including a Judges’ Choice award for our iWalk Recovery Center advertising campaign. We also received a Measure of Excellence Award from the Virginia Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations for our print advertising, along with recognition from the Healthcare Advertising Awards and the APEX Awards.
